Suvalkija
The theme of this coin is dedicated to the “Suvalkija” region and continues in the series of ethnographic regions of Lithuania. This is the 4th coin in the series.
This coin depicts the coat of arms of the ethnographic region of Suvalkija (Sudauen). In the center is represented the heraldic shield surrounded by branches of silver oak. The emblem “Vienybė težydi” is inscribed on the shield (meaning: May unity flourish).
